Position Summary:

The jobholder will be responsible for supporting the Quality Systems Support (QSS) team in managing the execution and documentation of activities critical to the ongoing health of the FCS Horsham site’s Quality Management System (QMS) and maintaining site compliance with GxP requirements. The jobholder will also take key responsibility for performing data analysis activities and creating / presenting associated reports, to enable the business to drive quality-focused continuous improvement initiatives.


Contribute to the QSS team’s role in the ongoing management of electronic QMS items. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Review and approval of investigations, change controls, action items and effectiveness checks
  • Timely completion of any assigned items
  • Support with construction and delivery of user training presentations
  • Assisting with resolving both system and concept-based user queries
  • Supporting system development / improvement

Serve as Quality lead for all requested data and reporting needs from a site perspective. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing and reporting internal and external Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Working with all areas of the business in carrying out trend analysis and interpretation of quality KPIs to establish common causes of quality events and areas for improvement
  • Conducting data analysis and visualizations for local, global and client quality presentations
  • Generating quality metrics relating to business operations and presenting to senior management on a scheduled basis
  • Participate in site management review activities and projects to drive continuous improvement.
  • Input into global teams to drive global harmonization of associated processes.
  • Facilitate and lead meetings related to QMS activities.
  • Support the completion of wider activities relating to the QMS (e.g. site audits, risk assessment, gap analysis etc.) and the document lifecycle (e.g. archiving, site training).
  • Promote a positive site Quality culture by encouraging related learning and information sharing with end-users.
  • Provide direction and support to Quality Systems Associates under the guidance of the Quality Systems Team Leader.
  • Undertake additional tasks / projects required for the achievement of business objectives associated with the Quality Systems team, as directed by and agreed with the Quality Systems Team Leader.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Essential: Experience gained from a pharmaceutical or similar regulated environment.
  • Essential: In-depth understanding of how to analyse and present data.
  • Desirable: Prior experience working in a QA function.
  • Desirable: Prior experience Trackwise or equivalent
  • The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of GMP and quality risk factors, and will have experience working in a Quality function, completing and managing QMS items. The candidate will also have an excellent understanding of how to source and present data analysis related to assessing the health of a QMS.
