Your new company
Hays Education over the last 18 weeks have been working really closely with local primary schools to identify their needs from September and learning about their individual catch up plan. With this in mind it has been identified those children in Key Stage 1 and 2 will need a large amount of support mentally, physically and academically.
Your new role
Your new role as a Teaching Assistant will be supporting on a 1:1, small group or whole class basis. This could be full or part time however the majority of teaching assistants posts do require you 5 days per week.
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed within this role you must have experience within a primary school and have strong literacy and numeracy skills to support children throughout their day. You must have a real passion for being within the classroom and a love of making a difference. Experience of the Key Stage 2 curriculum is essential to succeeding within this role.
What you’ll get in return
Flexible working options available. You will have guaranteed work on a full or part time basis, working in one school however should 2 roles become available part time this could also be an option to make up your week,
You will be supported by one point of contact who will ensure you have your next placement set up when your current one comes to an end.
