Your new role

As Site Facilities Technician you will play a key part in supporting the upgrade of the UKs largest site. This is an active role in delivering critical facilities management services across the site. Facilities management activities are the foundation on which Manufacturing and other support Departments rely to perform their respective duties in a lean and efficient manner. This role provides a foundation for career progression within a booming international industry. Being the UKs largest site the opportunities for learning, development and progression are a highlight.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

or this role it is essential that you have previous buildings and facilities management ideally within a manufacturing, commercial / retail, large office or similar environment. You will also need the below:

  • Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point, project) experience essential
  • NEBOSH General Health and Safety Certificate
  • Experience in managing contractors and managing health and safety on site
  • Results driven and focused

Desirable Skills Include

  • HNC/ HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Time served apprenticeship with formal craft qualification
  • Capable of establishing and maintaining good contractor/ supplier relationships
  • Strong engineering background with methodical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to act and react to ever changing business demands in a focussed and efficient manner without loss of focus
  • Experience of plant & equipment commissioning and decommissioning
