About the job

We are seeking a Programme Officer to join our International Partnerships team to help us deliver a range of exciting partnership activities with key academy partners from across the world including China, USA, India, South Korea, Japan, and Europe.

The role

As our Programme Officer, you will be helping to build and deliver the Academy’s portfolio of international bilateral and multilateral partnerships. Under the guidance of the Manager, International Partnerships, and colleagues you will be leading on the delivery of a range of activities with key Academy partners from across the world.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a proactive and flexible team-player to join our friendly and supportive team, someone who has an appetite to learn new skills and support a diverse international portfolio that drives to make the world a more sustainable place.

Stakeholder management, and partnership building are a big part of this role; therefore, we are looking for someone who has effective communication and interpersonal skills, and who has experience of working internationally or with international partners.

You will be supporting a diverse range of projects and engaging across Academy teams to deliver activities related to international policy, research and innovation, therefore knowledge of policy communications, or activities would be beneficial. You will have strong organisational, and time management skills, and previous experience supporting programme delivery and/or the delivery of events (either in-person or online).

You will also be asked to think creatively as the team develops materials to showcase impact and map future partnership activities that maximise the power of collaboration. Experience in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) will also be beneficial for this part of the role.

Location

Our light, spacious offices are based in a fantastic location in central London with views over St James’s Park and close to the West End. We operate hybrid, flexible working practices with a baseline 2 days a week in the office.
