About the job

The Cinema for Peace Foundation is looking for a Project Manager to lead the Cinema for Peace Court team in London, UK.

The Court by the Citizens of the World is a People’s Tribunal established to take on cases over which official courts have no jurisdiction to give victims and prosecutors the chance to make a case against leaders and regimes which enjoy impunity to date.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Court Project.
  • Manage conception, funding, and execution of the projects and ensure results are achieved.
  • Manage overall fundraising of the organization including institutional funding.
  • Work directly with the founder in the preparation of strategies, programs, and yearly plans for the organization.
  • Oversee human resource management and recruitments.
  • Oversee communications and social media management.
  • General administration, preparation of reports, online and offline filing.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications in the field of International (Public) Law, International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, Film, International Criminal Law, International Relations, International Humanitarian Law or other related fields
  • 5+ years of experience working in an international NGO, CSO, or cultural organization
  • Experience in institutional or other forms of fundraising for NGOs is a requirement
  • International Humanitarian law and Human rights experience
  • Experience managing a team of 10-15 employees.
  • Strong knowledge of both the film industry as well as the NGO sector.
  • Written and Spoken fluency in English. Fluency in German or any other language is a significant advantage.
  • Experience managing, drafting, and controlling budgets.
  • Experience in managing Human Resources.
  • Based in Berlin.
