We’re recruiting for Part Time Customer Service Advisors with a starting salary of £21,000-£23,000, plus bonus (pro rata). This is typically between 5% and 10% of your base salary. 1000-1400 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are our busiest periods so, it would be preferable if you can work during these hours. If these hours don’t quite suit your schedule or you’re looking for more or less hours then please apply anyway, as we can be flexible.

Internally, this role maybe called something different, depending on which team you join. We are currently recruiting for part time colleagues to join our Transfers and Workplace Pensions Customer Service teams. We’ll work with you on which department compliments your personality and strengths best.

Our Customer Service teams are made up of professionals from a range of backgrounds including call centre, retail, hospitality, and sales to name a few. Our Customer Service roles are partially home based and partially from our Cardiff office.

  • Helping our customers and clients every day. You’ll be working in one of our contact centres, taking inbound phone calls.
  • You’ll provide customers with a first-class experience during every interaction.
  • Given the nature of what we do, sometimes these calls can be emotive, so, we’re looking for people who are naturally caring, empathetic and resilient. The regularity of these types of calls will depend on which team you join. We’re recruiting across a variety of departments, which include investments, pensions, life insurance, retirement and bereavements.

  • The skills below are really important to us. Rest be assured, we will show you the L&G way. You’ll be in induction for a couple of weeks so, you’ll have the tools you need before you start helping our customers and clients.

  • Strong communication skills and passion to support customers, whatever their personal circumstances. Given the nature of some of the calls we receive, its important you’re authentic and empathetic.
  • Passion for customer experience and getting things right first time.
  • Confidence in using a desktop or laptop and experienced in using MS Office.
