We’re looking for an organised and efficient HR Administrator, who enjoys supporting a team and champions our ‘People First’ culture. This is a unique opportunity to help support HR practice within the fastest-growing independent agency in the UK.

Free from the larger corporate barriers, you will report into the HR Advisor, and work closely with the Head of HR, Board members and founding partners on a daily basis, to help organize and implement an ambitious HR strategy within our talented business, ensuring we continue to uphold our awards and accreditations such as Gold in Mind’s Wellbeing Index, IPA CPD Gold and a top 3 ‘Best Place to Work’ (Medium company – Campaign magazine).

Joining a growing HR team at Medialab, the HR Administrator will work closely with colleagues across the company to manage fundamental employee relation queries, HR processes, training, wellbeing, DE&I and help support in our talent growth and ongoing recruitment activity.

What You’ll Be Doing

HR OPERATIONS:

  • Manage new joiner onboarding and leaver offboarding process.
  • Administration of the online employee HR system (HiBob)
  • Administration of employee-related paperwork and letters, throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Continuously improve employee lifecycle processes, through management of efficient ways of working and getting the best out of our HR system.
  • Conducting HR file data audits and ongoing management of HR & Employee Files.
  • Assisting in administering financial elements such as payroll.
  • Assistance in ad hoc reporting and audits when required.
  • Support with organising and communicating an Wellbeing and DE&I initiatives such as Blue Monday, International Women’s Day, ‘Together We Stand’ sessions, etc.
  • Handling highly confidential information in an honest and trustworthy way

ENTRY-LEVEL RECRUITMENT:

  • Support the team on entry level recruitment schemes, organising assessment days, scheduling interviews and supporting in first stage screening.
  • Assist in communicating effectively with all candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist in maintaining our recruitment system and posting and removing jobs.

TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT:

  • Co-ordination and assistance in organising training sessions.
  • Helping track and record training session attendance.
  • Assisting in researching and sourcing external training providers.
  • IPA CPD administration – setting up new joiners on the platform and ensuring mandatory training is completed at all levels.

Skills And Behaviours

  • Professional and clear written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Positive and proactive attitude with a desire to make a difference in a dynamic, fast-paced, fastgrowing business.
  • Experience of using Excel and able to manipulate data at a basic level (as a minimum).
