  1. Working with the Guest Services team to achieve the objectives by contributing new ideas and helping to manage specific projects predominantly on-track and expanding experience into off-track & special projects
  2. To actively contribute to the Team’s primary objective of consistently being a top three team in the FIA Constructor’s Championship.

Primary Responsibilities

Trackside (reporting into Head of Trackside):

  • Management of Paddock Guest Programme at races (reporting into including pre-event planning and preparation, touring AMF1 team guests and coordination of motorhome dinners and media events
  • Curating new ideas around the Paddock guest programme to enhance the experiences trackside
  • Planning of overseas hospitality Paddock operations
  • Management of pre and post event Paddock guest communications, including attendee guides
  • Ownership of Paddock guest list management
  • Ownership of 1-2 non FOHES Paddock Club operations
  • Supporting with Paddock on-site freight management and paddock set up / pack down at attending races
  • Ownership of bespoke Partner Paddock activations (reporting into Head of Trackside and Chief of Guest Services and Hospitality)
  • Ownership of bespoke AMF1 Paddock activations (reporting into Head of Trackside and Chief of Guest Services and Hospitality)
  • Supplier management where required (e.g. trackside catering supplier)
  • Input on freight management and stock inventory
  • Support with data capture and reporting of on-track programmes

Off – Track & Special Projects (reporting into Chief of Guest Services & Hospitality)

  • Ownership of factory launch
  • Support with AMF1 Car Launch event delivery
  • Ownership of CSR reporting and event initiatives for Guest Services team
  • Support the British Grand Prix HQ event
  • Management / support of additional ad hoc off-track events and guest programmes depending on business requirements
  • Initiating and implementing event and guest management processes
  • Support with creative delivery and ideas for developing off-track event programme in line with partnership requirements and development of Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One Team driven initiatives
  • Venue research
  • Agency management where required
  • Supplier management where required
  • Freight management and stock inventory
  • Support data capture and reporting of off-track programmes
  • Financial recording and raising of PO’s including budget forecasting and expenditure management

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • A track record of managing events/shows/conferences – either in motorsport of sporting industry
  • Effective task management
  • Microsoft Office competent
  • Communication skills – telephone manner, email and face-to-face
  • Experience using marketing software tools
  • Teamwork skills
  • Commercial and business awareness
  • Attention to detail

The role is based in Silverstone with regular travel to London and may include some additional travelling. You will be expected to take all necessary steps to ensure successful delivery and follow up of the event.
