New Mills School is a medium sized 11-16 secondary school based in the High Peak close to the Peak District National Park, yet within easy reach of the centres of Stockport and Manchester.

We are looking for a Facilities Manager who will play a vital role in the management of the school. The main responsibilities in the role are;
- To oversee the efficient operation, maintenance and improvement of the School’s facilities.
- To be responsible for the management of Health & Safety and develop a safety culture throughout the site in accordance with HSE legislation & County guidance, in conjunction with the School Business Manager
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be confident in their approach and demonstrate high levels of attention to detail. The role will require flexibility and use of initiative to provide a key support function to the school.
