Business Development Executive
Hybrid working in West Sussex
37.5 hours per week
£25,560 – £30,890 p.a. depending on depth and variety of experience in a similar role
St Barnabas Hospices offers specialist palliative care through two hospices: St Barnabas House adult hospice in Worthing and Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice near Arundel in Sussex. We also have an offices based in Worthing and Eastbourne along with Retail Shops across Sussex.
We are recruiting for a Business Development Executive who can build relationships with new and existing corporate supporters to maximise income for the hospice. You will identify and pursue opportunities to broaden relationships and contribute to the development of Chestnut Tree House.
This role requires strong relationship management and business development skills as well as attention to detail and an organised approach.
The successful individual will demonstrate:
- Experience of successful business relationship management, demonstrating long term and development of new partnerships.
- A creative and innovative thinker with a positive approach, motivated by pushing the boundaries
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Able to keep calm under pressure, when dealing with complex relationships, in a professional manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill
The successful applicant will have great communication skills and some experience in fundraising or the equivalent area.
