Main duties of the job
To plan, demonstrate and deliver Fit Test training to staff of all designations.
Coordinate Fit Testing across the relevant site to manage capacity and demand.
Support the Health and Safety (Fit Testing Advisor) in the production of Fit Testing Performance and Annual Reports and other documents including the recording of fit testing records onto the Health Board’s ESR system and the collating and formatting of materials.
To oversee the Fit Testing Clinic equipment and consumables to ensure adequate provision to undertake testing and to liaise with procurement in regards to equipment as required e.g. to ensure adequate supplies, maintenance etc.
To demonstrate confidence and professionalism at all times when dealing with people.
To attend meetings as required or to provide information to the Corporate Health & Safety Lead in order to support the Fit Testing Reporting Process.
To link with colleagues in IPC as required in relation to any clinical queries regarding Fit Testing.
To support divisional fit testers and to ensure continuity of standards for training and compliance and to maintain contemporary master copies of all training programmes for which the post holder has responsibility.
Attend relevant meetings to take notes/minutes and typing up of these before distribution.
Supporting and Corporate Health and Safety team with reports that are required quarterly and annually.
