Main duties of the job

The Test, Trace, Protect (TTP) programme is defined nationally and the Health Board is responsible for leading the delivery of the service across North Wales and working with our other partners. This is a significant new service in response to managing Covid-19 and is expected to be a requirement for some time.

As part of managing the pandemic, the Health Board was required to introduce early on a testing and tracking of COVID-19 within the population. In order to deliver the WG seven core principles of testing, this service needs to be as streamlined as possible, be reactive to surge in demand and have a core staffing workforce with the skills and knowledge to deliver requirements.

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board has four Community Testing Units (CTUs) in Alltwen, Bangor, Glan Clwyd and Wrexham which operate 7 days a week. Experienced Administrators are required to provide full administrative support to the CTU Teams in Glan Clwyd Hospital,. This will include managing testing diaries, preparing labels for swabs, resolving conflicting diary appointments and support the wider hospital group in maintaining services by coordinating testing support as required.
