Cash Accounting Assistant

The bit “About the Role”

The Revenue & Cash team is responsible for ensuring that cash and related transactions are accounted for correctly. As a Cash Accounting Assistant, you will be an integral part of the Cash Accounting team whose main function on a daily basis is to ensure accurate, prompt recording of all cash receipts and investigation of discrepancies.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role:

  • Enter, analyse and resolve cash exceptions
  • Analyse and communicate discrepancies to stores, Area Managers and the People Team
  • Resolve cash related store queries
  • Month end journals and reconciliations
  • Point of contact for G4S queries and administration

About You

To be successful within this role you will be:

  • Ideally experienced in a similar role
  • A good communicator with people at all levels
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
  • Good with numbers and have great attention to detail
  • Happy dealing with high volumes of data, processing quickly and accurately
